About Neurographics

Introducing Neurographics, an innovative graphic approach to positive changes in your way of thinking, a creative method of world transformation directed to improving your quality of life.

Bella Marskaya, the instructor and the creator of Downtown Art School is offering online and in person sessions practicing Neurographics. This technique allows direct access to solving internal problems of your daily existence and helps to conceive and bring to completion your personal and professional projects.

To practice Neurographics no art training is necessary. During the session you’ll draw the abstract images together with the instructor using lines and geometric shapes. You will be guided, step by step through the entire process.

Each image you create in Neurographics is done for a specific reason. Before the drawing process starts you will have a conversation with your instructor to determine where the conflict lays and what your personal goals are.

Here are some examples of work with clients:

M. had a trying relationship with an old friend. They couldn’t come to the agreement on most issues and often felt annoyed in each other’s presence. Still they valued many qualities each of them had and M. very much wanted to work out the conflicting situation that stood between them. With the instructor’s guidance she created a drawing on the topic of the relationship with her friend. What came out was so strong and effective that after this one practice she was able to resolve the existing conflicts and disagreements.

R., a successful professional, was feeling claustrophobic in her small city apartment and longed to spend more time in nature in peace and solitude. However, she couldn’t find a way to combine her busy work schedule and family obligations with the idea of going away even for a few days at a time. It all seemed impossible. After she completed a case work (a group of Neurographic drawings on the same topic) on this theme an unexpected opportunity came up. She overcame her anxiety and bought a small place in the woods. As if by a miracle she had more free time to do what she always wanted to do and enjoy her time in nature.

Positive effects of practicing Neurographics:

1. Increase and support of your self esteem. Acceptance of who you are. Appreciation of your personality. Stable confidence.

2. Balance and harmony in dealing with others. Developing social skills and the ability to build successful and lasting relationships in personal and professional life.

3. Resolving conflicting situations. Generating rapport and the ability to cooperate with the others.

4. Strong, lasting motivation. Desire to act, abundance of energy and creativity. Inspiration and joy in your daily life.

5. Internal peace and balance. Synchronization with the reality around you.

6. Feeling of joy and happiness in life.

Clients’ Reviews:

I’ve had two neurographic sessions with Bella. She first helped me to identify, hone in on exactly what I wanted to work on, what was at the core of my needs. And then she guided me through the process of drawing, encouraging me to bring that intention into my mark-making. As I began to draw the organic shapes and lines, with her guidance, I felt a kind of flow state happening as shapes made sense on the page, and the anxiety that I came into the session with, fell away, was replaced with a sense of abundance, wonder and possibility. It was really cool to feel my brain integrating, shifting neuropathways. After the session, I was able to work on a project I had been pushing away and had new found confidence too. The second session expanded on the first and I felt some kind of higher power moving through. I can honestly say this work yields results and will help you harness your talents to create what you want in the world. Bella is a wonderful coach!

I discovered with Bella’s sessions a completely different approach in addressing life’s questions and stress. It’s a great tool I can use on my own now. Bella’s guidance is calming and attentive and provides great insights. A wonderful discovery!

I have been doing Neurographic practice with Bella during the past year.
I am not sure how to classify this art modality : behavioral therapy, art, magic, or all of the above. Probably the last…
Anyway, I had no prior art training, and knew a little about Neurographics from the internet videos I have watched.
However, working with Bella really centered and motivated my work… With her guidance I had room to open up blocks and fears. After every session I felt inspired and  almost part of creation itself..
What does that mean practically? My long time dream that I couldn’t realize in more than ten years has come true. During the sessions Bella asked me to focus on what stands between me and my dream. I did, and somehow magically, it help to eliminate the obstacles. In two months of practice I achieved what I couldn’t have in ten years. Needless to say- I am happy!
However, besides the fast results, I think Neurographics is a brilliant form of creative process, and Bella is a fantastic guide and coach. I am a big fan.

I want to express my gratitude to Bella Marskaya for the patience and care I received during our Neurographic sessions when I needed them the most. While working with me Bella consistently attentive and had a good insight so she succeeded to guide me through my fear, doubts and chaos to the place of internal peace, clarity and acceptance. Once more I want to thank Bella for the highly individual and careful approach to helping me to solve my problems.
